This service is for booked, attended sessions only. We confirm suitability first, take payment before the session starts, and tell you plainly if the issue needs hands-on repair instead.

Session terms

First booked session

The standard starting point is up to 60 minutes, priced from £20.00.

If the machine disconnects

We will try to help you reconnect once during the arranged session. If the device is turned off, loses internet, or needs more time than booked, extra work is arranged as a follow-up paid block.

A good fit for

  • Slow Windows systems that still start up
  • Email, Microsoft 365, update, and setup problems
  • Malware clean-up and suspicious pop-up issues
  • General software frustration where travel is unnecessary

Not the right fit for

  • Machines that will not turn on or cannot get online
  • Broken screens, charging faults, or liquid damage
  • Unplanned remote access from unexpected callers
  • Leaving long-term unattended control on a customer device

How it works

1. Tell us the problem

Use the form below in plain English. If remote help is not suitable, we will say so and guide you to the right next step.

2. We confirm suitability and payment

We confirm the issue is suitable, the booked session length, and the payment step before any connection starts.

3. You stay present and in control

We only connect during the arranged paid session. You can see what is happening while we work and we do not rely on unattended access.

4. Follow-up stays clear

You receive a status link so you can check what was agreed, what was done, and leave feedback while the job is still fresh.

Safety first

Only use remote access when you asked us first.

Laptop Clinic will not cold-call you to ask for access to your computer. If someone contacts you unexpectedly, do not let them in.

Every session is planned and attended.

We do not rely on permanent unattended access for ordinary customer support. The connection is for the booked session only.

Choose the nearest software or account category. If the issue turns out to be a hardware fault, we will tell you before any session is booked.

Tell us when you are likely to be at the machine and free to stay present.

Use this for access concerns, callback needs, or anything that would help us plan the session properly.

If the machine will not turn on, has physical damage, or cannot get online, use the repair booking form instead and we will guide you from there.
